i can still vividly remember the feeling of my orthodontist expanding my palate bones and not being able to tap my teeth for two weeks after. no injections or even any illness has ever come close to the pain of moving your bones

the first 3 days are actually horrible, worst pain ever. the only thing that slightly eased the pain was ice cream, i probably ended up eating ~25 pints in those 3 days.
