The typical precedent of religious "moral code" confines is how people normally decide if gay is good or bad.
It's a fact less religious people usually don't care for seeing gays kiss on TV or etc.
This is precisely why older people usually don't like gays and younger don't care.
Older were raised with religious views more & younger are more atheist.
But people raised with a religious framework usually dislike gay people or gay intimacy.
So it's common sense to assume people who don't like gays are of the same "religious framework."
Even if they don't identify as religious they operate with the same "moral code."
So whether you wanna call it "religious" or not all homophobia is closet coping &/or religious derived.
