Assume positive integers A, and B
C=A/B
Calculate the proportion difference to either one of the integers required to move A or B (in C) 2% of the sum of A and B
This took me like 20 minutes but I have ocd over intelligence
Gonna try to get fluvoxamine

A new = A+0.02 x B X (A+B)

B new = B + <0.02 x B X (A+B) / A>

Makes no sense unless you got educated on mathematics and my IQ is 143

A= 0.02 x (A+B)

Very simple tbh

Can you elaborate on this, are you saying to increase or decrease C by 2%?
Decrease / increase either a or b by 2, the sum stays the same and c changes

Yes I don't understand the question and I am super genius so it must be a mistake.

Multiply both sides by (1 + 2(A + B)/100) for 2% increase, (1 - 2(A + B)/100) for 2% decrease

@imontheloose
lol, am I known as the maths guy now.

First note that the change in C = 0.02(A+B) then set other variables such as C2, A2, B2 for the newly changed variables and then you can find what the change in A would be or B would be

im pretty sure this is totally wrong, unless you meant C=0.02(A+B) as the first assumed step lol
Let me describe it better
Assuming you have A, and B
Find what 2% of the sum is to either integer
Its simple ive been ruminating for the past hour about how low my iq is

Surely just 1.02(A+B)/A or /B to find what it is as a % of A or B

Yes i feel entirely retarded for taking 20 minutes to solve that
It was more like 30 minutes as i took 20 minutes to get to an answer that was entirely wrong then 10 minutes to get to the obvious answer

I have absolutely nothing
Not intelligence, not looks, not height, not strength

Lmfaoooo, I thought you meant something different at the start of the thread. Yeah just try think of algebraic variables as physical quantities to help you rationalise it at the start, you’ll get better as you practise buddy

  • To change AA, adjust by:
    ΔA=0.02×(A+B)×BΔA=0.02×(A+B)×B
  • To change BB, adjust by:
    ΔB=0.02×(A+B)×B
:feelsautistic:

Eh i can easily think of them as quantities, its more so me just taking 60 seconds to form a thought
Its literally physically suffocating im stuck at 4 am in the morning just trying to make a thought and i just want to lash out

C stays constant
