If you have an overbite, will lens distortion make your chin look smaller than it actually is in selfies?

because your “midface above the chin” would be closer to the camera and magnified, and your chin/lower jaw would be farther from the camera and made smaller?

And on the other hand people with underbites will have there chins/lower jaws magnified and look bigger

Lens distortion will make the center of the picture bigger while the outside smaller, therefore your lower third looks rounded and smaller, but I don't see how people with underbites will have their lower thirds bigger.

no I have no idea where your getting that from

It makes whatever’s closer to the camera appear bigger

People with overbites have there chin/lower jaw set back so it should look smaller, because it will be farther away from the camera
