That does not help. U need professional camera and accurate lenses. Iphone aint designed for that. If u take picture from long distance with Iphone.. You cannot zoom it and it looks highly blurry.

The mirror doesn't halo you. Your mind is just used to seeing yourself in the mirror so because of exposure effect you see yourself as better and don't notice your flaws as much. In general pics from a 50+ mm lens from 6 ft distance with flat overhead diffused lighting from a camera that supoorts RAW images is the most accurate. 0 distortion, skin color and undertones look exactly how they look in real life and the pics capture just as much detail as a person irl would see. RAW videos with you talking are even better a photographer told me this.
