A well developed palate means your teeth would've naturally fallen into place without the need for braces.
When the upper jaw is too narrow or high, there's just not enough room for teeth to come in straight, which leads to crowding or bite issues like overbites and crossbites. This often happens when the tongue doesn't rest properly on the roof of the mouth, which is something that can be thrown off by things like mouth breathing, allergies, or thumb sucking/excessive pacifier use in childhood.
And braces themselves don't guarantee that they'll expand your palate either, cuz they're just straightening the teeth but not the bone they sit in. So if you ever see a narrow palate cuck with good teeth you can be pretty certain he wore braces.
Ik this is water but I don't think the correlation between an underdeveloped palate and malocclusions are talked about enough, especially among normies.
