1. if you focus on x u miss out on y
2. if you try too hard to increase iq, u overwhelm yourself
3. you have a worse frequency, except when u feel like it
there is an opportunity cost, its not worth the time and effort
here is the only things that work
exercise doesnt work
you think automatically so it makes no sense for me to tell you to think all thoughts are such bs
what helps and can be done though, is gaining more knowledge.
if you train speed of thought u just overwhelm yourself and have no energy left
if you train memory its just a waste of time and effort, and it has no transfer effects in rl, only on the game u play or very similar tasks, anyway, not worth the effort, i dont enjoy it and it overwhelms you
the only things that make sense to become smarter:
1. read mvp posts, if u do that, u won't miss anything
2. read wikipedia, watch tv, watch youtube, read books
3. take certain drugs and nootropics (be very careful with that, if ur not smart about it, it can majorly b@ckfire)
4. focus on knowledge, since this can measurably be increased
