Let’s be real. If you’re training to look good and not just chasing gym numbers or copying generic fitness influencers, you only need to focus on three muscle groups. Shoulders, back, and arms. That’s it. Everything else is optional if aesthetics are the goal.

Shoulders are the most important for creating that wide frame look. Side delts make you look broader instantly, even if your bone structure is mid. Rear delts add depth and help posture, which makes you look more upright and confident. When your shoulders are round and capped, your whole upper body looks bigger and more dominant. It’s the foundation of the Dorito shape.

Back builds the taper. Wide lats flare out your torso and give you that V shape everyone wants. A thick upper back makes your frame look dense and powerful from behind and from the sides. If your back is flat, you’ll look small no matter how strong you are. Train it with intent. Pullups and rows are essential. Keep the form clean. Most guys mess this up and wonder why they still look narrow.

Arms are what finish the look. They don’t make your frame wider but they bring attention to everything else. Big triceps push out your sleeves and add width. Biceps give you that athletic curve. Defined forearms show through long sleeves and give off that strong lean aesthetic. People notice arms first in everyday life, and if yours are lacking it throws off your whole upper body.

You don’t need to train everything. You don’t need a perfect push pull legs routine or some complex bodybuilding split. You need to focus on the muscles that make you look wider and more sculpted. Shoulders back and arms will do that on their own. Frame is fakeable. The illusion is real.

This is how you look like you lift even with a shirt on. This is how you mog without needing elite genetics. Most people are doing too much and getting nothing out of it. You train smart, you win.

When you train abs your obliques work as well most of the time. And overtime your waist become wider, that’s out of my own experience
