If your first kid had a genetic abnormality, would you have a second?

I had a friend who had this happen. He went on to have another kid. Rolling the dice again with the same girl when you know the first kid ended up with issues. I got recommended a video of some couple explaining how hard life is for them because their KIDS (plural) have the same genetic disease. I'm not sure if they had the second kid while knowing the possibilities of the second one having the same thing but it does happen. You really have to be a scummy cunt of a person to force another human to live a shit life just for your own ego because you want the experience of having kids.
