legit theory.
i was a khhcv at 27 and an almost perpetual social recluse with severe anxiety (still am).
then i went on a holiday with my mother and here a girl approached me when i was sitting around.
we started talking, she asked if i had a gf and then if i kissed anyone before. i said no.
she then pulled me towards her and asked me to kiss her, and although i freak out initially, shaking profusely, after she hugged, caressed, and talked to me for 15+ minutes, we finally kissed.
the ensuing 3 hours consisted of intermittently walking along in nature, talking, kissing and cuddling under the stars, watching the sun set and rise, listening to the waves crash the birds/insects chirp.
It was beautiful, romantic and surreal experience - like something out of a romcom.
i will have to make a longer thread about it.

the important thing is to not give up, put yourself out there unironically, be yourself (i told her i was a 27 yo kissless virgin with no gf) and make a concerted effort to remain positive.
