The OG model of parenting was that you only worked for your children.
Meaning that your parents gave everything to you with the expectation that you give grandchildren to them.
So they spoil the shit out of you and let you be NEET and party in your 20s, fund everything you need, give you a trust fund.
Then in your 30s after you had your fun you have kids and go to work cause you already experienced it all. Parents buy you a house because you "earned it"
