Aren't you happy that you can afford a higher standard of living?

You can have a bigger apartment, travel more, buy more luxury goods.

Luxury goods are bullshit, its a complete cope if you think theres happiness buying an expensive car over a cheaper one.

My favourite car was a Peugeot 107 which is 15 years old i bought for £2200.

Bigger apartment? And live by yourself or with a woman who just wants the apartment?

Travel the world? By yourself will be shit if you got no social circle. And the locals will just want your money and despise a foreigner is walking around.

Standard of living doesn't mean anything. Plenty of happy people in third world countries with the basics

Yea it was titbot. He is going for a lower eyelid revision and a Eppley Epicanthoplasty for medial canthus iirc. Lower eyelid retraction is a shit surgery tbh. The unnatural look is created because while the lower eyelid becomes tighter and comes closer to the eye pupil, the upper eyelid remains distant and unchanged. It gives a nicolas cage "You don't say" unnatural, tense expression.

Money is very nice. You can buy nice things. You can afford surgeries. It's way better to have money than have not.

However shitty work sucks. That doesn't mean you shouldn't focus on your career, it means you have to have a career that you like.

You can buy luxury goods you like. If I would have a six-figure income, I would buy cool shit I can't buy now, like a modern telescope and a couple of suits.

Bigger apartment = More comfort for you.

You can travel the world alone or with friends, and you can meet people while traveling.

Happiness is not only dependent on money, but money can help.

Not at all. Traveling is fun. And you can meet people via Tinder.

I've always preferred to travel alone. The few times I've traveled in a group, or even just with one other person, it's always been an irritating experience. A lot of time is usually wasted trying to figure out what everbody wants to do, and after about the 4th day you'd do about anything to get away from the others.

Meeting new people is where the fun's at when it comes to traveling.

Just marry and have a kid or something brother, don't waste time with those medium tier experiences of having social circles, girlfriends and whatnot

Total happiness doesn't exist in this life, the most happy person ever to live probably didn't feel happy even a 15% of his/her lifetime

If i was you i would probably just do the things that relax me the most which is going to a cafeteria or having a walk and reflecting on life. I understand now why older people cope with those things, there is wisdom in elderly people.

When i was some years younger i did almost all what a 15-18 year old dreamed of and at the beggining the dopamine rush is decent, is like that feeling when you buy a videogame and you wake up in the next 2-3 days thinking "Oh, come on, i need to have breakfast quickly and play", a dopamine rush, but then you realize it is such an empty life... and the downfall is almost as bigger if not bigger than when you were climbing the ladder

The best feelings i had ever in my life had almost nothing to do with money or looks or whatever, the first is when i pray very concentrated and with high levels of Iman (faith) and certainty that my prayer is being watched by Allah and listened, i feel some strange thing in my heart but it is just a matter of seconds and is not something that i can have whenever i want, i may spend days or months without it, i don't know how to explain it. I think if people felt like that all the time they may die or something because is like the heart is really pushing itself to the limits and you can feel it's doing so.

The second best feeling probably is when i was a kid, i was asthmatic and i could spend a lot of hours without breathing, i mean really long asthma crisis so when breathing is recovered after 1 or 2 days of suffering it makes you be tremendously thankful and almost everything else in your mind is put aside for some hours. Kinda similar to when a paim of teeth strikes you but i would say very much more impactful, i guess it's because breathing is more essential than not feeling teeth pain

The third best feeling is when i broke a fast which really put my body on limits, i mean some long stuff like 40 hours fasting, now i'm in Ramadan and i'm cool, your forget a bit after breaking the fast but i'm still young so it's relatively easy to me and the hour span is shorter, but when the fasting is really forcing you and the body really asks you for food it is a great feeling, is kinda like you forget every problem you had but at the same time you are self conscious, it only lasts some 6-7 hours i would say

I guess life it's a process where if you are born with nothing you have to climb the ladder, and if you are born with everything you have to fall and then climb the ladder again to appreciate what you have

I like to say this, there are rich people like Elon Musk or Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos or whoever it may be that are searching constantly during their entire life via their possessions and investments a happiness that a Somali 6 year old kid has when his grandmother weave him a foot-ball, it may sound a bit cliché but there lies no doubt that it is the reality
