Ignoring compound movements during newbie gains were my biggest regret

This was when the isolated movements, unilateral movements and spamming 0 RIR was the meta (JPG, TNF era late 2022 iykyk). Biggest mistake I've ever made

I switched to every stable movements of the same ones (bench press,..) and gained 0 strenght. I noticed that my bench was basically the same after about ~2 years of training (went to the gym on and off)

Gained a few muscles and kgs. Althought I am still built like a twink (standing at 6ft and 68kg because I don't really have the apetite to eat). Really wishing I had the budget to pin test rn

How am I training like a massive retard lol, I trained to failure every sets, picked the most stable exercises for every muscle part. Every other lifts increased and put on a few muscle mass

Nigger all you have to perform is a basic linear progression until it stalls its not rocket science but you still failed

Which I did ?

Its obviously not rocket science and I told you I made progress, just not with the bench. I havent tested it yet but probaly 1.5x my bw

Idk cus i got long ass arms

I do better at compounds tho. It's average but 2. somethingx my bw (140kg)
