I have wanted one for several years and I recently saved enough money to do it. I live in Chicago and found a surgeon here with really good reviews that does them for $3k. Unbelievable right? The two other quotes I had received in the past are $6800 and $5500.

It is only a 30 minute procedure so it makes sense that it doesn’t cost too much. This doctor will be going under the chin and wants to do a large square implant. I am a little concerned that a large might be too bulbous...it seems like more of an art then a science to get the right size. I don’t know if I should ask for a medium and then do filler to correct if necessary? Does anyone have any thoughts or any questions?

DONT.

Why would you ever get a chin implant over sliding genioplasty?!

The only benefit of sliding genio is vertical length. It won’t add width to the front of the chin.

With chin implant you get both. Granted not as much as vertical length.

Also price and recovery time are factors.

you can do a t-split osteotomy during the sliding genio where they widen your chin aswell

Or you can just add fillers for more width

Yeh but chin implants look fake and cause bone resorption over time. Most guys who had chin implant on this site regretted it, ended up getting them taken out and doing genioplasty after.

Genioplasty can be done to widen chin as well anyway, seriously cancel this chin implant. Complete waste of money and time.

I went to a jaw surgeon who was willing to do t split for chin widening

but then i realised my chin is already very wide so i didnt go through with any surgery. It would have cost 4500€+ 2000€ for the widening

I think any decent jaw surgeon can do it.

I don't think many surgeons do T-shaped genioplasty, it's hard to even find info on it on the internet

its uncommon because people arent redpilled on chin width

but they can do it for sure if you tell them, jaw surgeons are extremely skilled

Can you recommend some specific surgeon ?

The jaw surgeon i visited will do it but i dont wanna namedrop him

german and british jaw surgeons are good, dr. Zarrinbal for example. Germany is cheaper and more professional, I would prefer doing it there

Will you upload pics @OP?

I got chin implant through the mouth, very tough recovery (probably wish I would’ve gone through underneath chin instead). Still 100% worth it. Only regret is that I didn’t go bigger.

Here are the before pics anyways

[The cheek redness in the top pic is caused by psoriasis. Psoriasis is some bullshit. May have found a cure though, that will be a separate thread if it turns out to work.]

And what results do you expect from this?

I understand that, but why did you get it? More attraction from women?
I’m confused by the question. Isnt the whole purpose of this forum to look better? The reason why is because we want to be more attractive. Thats the kind of stupid question my parents would ask me.

I needed 8 millimeters vertical to make even facial thirds, I needed to 8 millimeters forward to align the most forward point of the chin with the root/base of the nose.

Its simply scientific research and measurement that I came to these conclusions.

that's a quite ascencion to my eyes. your face a lot better and that's what it counts. congrats. i'll get soon too hopefully.

So how many women would you have to attract to feel that your investment paid off?

Genioplasty is always superior

To me it’s more scientific than that. I have studied this subject long enough to know exactly what kind of face a high value girl wants. Adding the vertical length will be extremely beneficial to my mission to become attractive. I will find out over the next several weeks and months exactly what that means based on how I am perceived. I can definitely hit the top 10-20% of male attractiveness within the few months. Prior to this I would have put myself somewhere in the middle of the pack, maybe upper middle, but middle is the middle.

It’s not a question of I hope to get ‘x’ number of lays to make the implant worth it. In the two months before the surgery I got laid with two different girls who I would consider a 7 and an 8. But even then I wasn't happy because I could feel the attraction wasn’t what it should be. I am experiencing a oneitis at the moment, a girl who is marriage material, and I would like her to fall for me. If she does the implant will 100% be worth it but even if not I am quite sure I will be able to pull 8’s quite easily for the next 5-10 years at least. Whereas before I could only consistently pull 6’s.

I guess it is a matter of pride and dignity.
