I'm 21 and don't call my self a zoomer cause it sounds like such a cringe word. Millennial sounds much cooler.

Anything before 2001 isn’t zoomer tbh considering they grew up without social media dominating their lives

Hard to say. I’m 24 and have no problem relating to people 20-26 but I can definitely see a difference beyond that. I relate more to a 20 year old than a 27+ year old which is weird as fuck.

it really just comes down to how familiar they are with social media

I was born in 1999 and had Facebook when I was in primary school and so did every other kid. I would say anything before 1997 isn't zoomer.

Well that’s the official cut off so you’re on to something.

I was born in 1996, the youngest millennial. Generations are kind of stupid though. I’m a millennial but the difference between me and the oldest millennials is massive, all because of the internet and social media. I communicated online via chat rooms in grade 5 onwards. I had a Facebook in grade 7. Instagram was starting to get popular as I was in highschool, and took off around the time I graduated in 2014.

Yea mane. Technology really caused a huge disconnect between the generations imo. If you think about it, a few hundred years ago an 18 and a 30 year old would probably have a lot more in common and more of a connection than an 18 year old and a 30 year old in todays society.

yes, but I can hardly relate to any generation of people at least around here

97-2001ish is a weird generation in the sense that you came right before all the zoomer shit but still weren't really part of what the people that came just a few years before you were part of

I think we were born into a weird transitional phase, but maybe that's just me projecting my feelings of not really belonging anywhere
