thats a good idea. my argument with my parents was that: right now I'm 18 and I have unlimited access to experiences and opportunities, but no money. when i'm 30 I'll have plenty of access to money, but will no longer have access to social experiences and opportunities. so it makes sense to have them lend me some money for surgery when it would make the most difference, then I can pay them back later after I've gotten a job
