I unironically look decent with sides short meanwhile I look like a subhuman with medium length but I look less aggressive. I’m convinced it morphs my face until it grows back

Obviously it doesn’t remodel bone and actually morph your face but it creates certain illusions and changes the perceived look of your face. Perception is obviously a key factor in looks.

What hairstyle if one has very wide and short face ?

Sides: need to be short, since your face is wide you must reduce mass on the sides of your face.
Top: needs to be longer, since your face is short you must increase mass on top of your face.

A beard can also create the illusion of a longer face, but it needs to be properly shaped in order not to make your face appear even wider. Slimming down your face is also important, as a leaner face looks slimmer and will counteract the naturally "bulky" appearance of a wide and short face.
