If you drink it constantly, the effects start to become placebo. Back when I used to abuse substances, my brain was so fried that energy drinks would actually make me sleepy. This happened because my body developed a tolerance not just to caffeine but to many other stimulants. Only the taurine would take effect, and sometimes I’d ironically drink two white Monsters just to help me rest.
