We just use metric when we do that stuff. It's too hard logistically to switch to metric at this point. They tried in the 70s and everyone was fucking rioting

People hate change in any form. Especially as they get older. It's a sign of mental plasticity decay. Look at what happens whenever YouTube, twitter, reddit, or anything gets redone. People go ballistic

Companies put lots of money into researching what's more intuitive and better, but people like to stick to their usual routine and never want to change it up.
