I honestly haven’t been to the gym in along time and I’m pretty skinny now how can I get my v taper as a 15 year old

yo bro im 16, was skinny af like u last year (no gym 2yrs, ribs out, zero taper). here’s the short af version that actually built my V as a teen – wide back/shoulders + kept waist small. no fluff.


eat big (bulk mode)


300-500 cals over maintenance. hit 1g protein/lb bodyweight.


easy: eggs/oats breakfast, chicken/rice lunch, shake + pb snack, beef/pasta dinner, milk before bed. sleep 9hrs. teen hormones do the rest.


train 3x/week – focus V width


full body, 3 sets 8-12 reps, add weight when easy. prioritize these:


• wide grip lat pulldown or pull-ups/assisted (lat width king)


• dumbbell lateral raises (side delts for shoulder pop)


• bent over rows or seated rows (back thickness)


• overhead press (shoulders overall)


• light squats/deads (keep proportions, dont skip legs)


• stomach vacuums daily (suck gut in hard, hold 10-20sec x10 – trains tiny waist)


quick tips

• minimal cardio, just walk


• creatine 5g/day if u want cheap edge

contrary to popular belief its possible to lean-bulk, just eat purely meat and fruits and eat well above calorie maintance. As for excersizes just do the simple ones, no point in doing kazakh ball-lifting left variation at this age as youre more likely to just screw up

1g protein/lb body weight, eat in a mild surplus (200-500 cal)
Carbs before training (learn about carb timings)
Ensure adequate dietary fat for hormones
5g creatine/day, supplements if deficient in anything
7-9 hrs of sleep per night, avoid overexertion on rest days
Aim for 10k steps/day and do some cardio every so often
Train 4-6 days a week on your desired split (avoid one muscle a day “bro split”, upper/lower, PPL & FBEOD are decent choices)
Train to/near failure with good form and intensity
2-3 sets per exercise, 6-12 reps

Exercise choice depends on split and programming, most muscle groups benefit from 2 exercises to target different heads/joint actions. Do your research

Prioritise stable exercises

For a V-taper in particular, emphasise lats (lat pulldowns/pullups) and side delts (lateral raises) but build a balanced physique.

Consistency over everything.

There’s a few things you can do there’s probably better people to ask but you can go to any gym and make friends with the biggest guy there or just ask any homeless man and offer him money to hook you up
