Don't expect much but figured it's worth a go, after reading the larps of people like @chadbeingmade
Probably gonna order powder from anageninc, which is expensive but at least I know it's legit

Need to thicken my temples

And then I'll also have more hair transplant consultations

If it doesn't work, I'll either try minox or just get a transplant

It's an anti androgen, not a growth stimulant. Not exactly sure how it's meant to cause the regrowth some people claim

I went on .com and they put ru as an eyebrow growth recommendation :feelscry:

I’ve already explained the circumstances under which it is going to work.

If your hair is thinner than it used to be (implying it is miniaturised) then RU will deal with the androgens that are causing said miniaturisation and allow the follicle to un minaturise which in turn the hair will thicken up back to what it used to be. It will bring you back to baseline as if the reaper never existed. If your hair hasn’t changed thickness it hasn’t miniaturised and you would be asking to thicken your hair above baseline. You would need minox in that case and RU will do nothing for you.

If the follicle is there and miniaturised (thinner than it used to be, even transparent/vellus), RU will work.

If the follicle is there and not effected by androgens (not miniaturised, same thickness is always was), RU will do nothing/just prevent its future miniaturisation.

If the folcile is completely dead (meaning the area is slick bald, no baby / vellus hairs), RU can’t bring that back, minox can’t bring that back, nothing but a hair transplant can bring that back.

Yes, but how would that cause the hair to regrow thicker? I would assume it would just stay as is. Same applies to "regrowth" from fin and dut
I have clear miniaturisation but not slick bald

As I already said your hair gets thinner when it miniaturises, it gets thicker when it un miniaturises.

It’s the reverse of this.

I get what's supposed to happen
But it clearly doesn't happen to most people, as they don't get regrowth, and I'm wondering how it becomes unminiaturised. Dht causes it to shrink, but what I don't get is what brings it back

Is dutasteride enough to deal with all of that?

I used to be on minox and had some mild results, nothing crazy, but it's too cucked and annoying to put that greasy shit on the head every morning and night, plus my scalp is mad itchy when I use it so I've been using 0.5mg dutasteride a day only for the past 5-6 months.

I also had a transplant btw.

I used minox myself for close to 2 years. I also discontinued using it.

I use 2.5mg Dut and RU now only. If you are natty then Dut only would really most likely be enough. If results aren’t where you want them to be then try 2.5mg. Serum DHT only changes by ~4% IIRC, but scalp suppression goes from ~50% with 0.5mg to ~80% 2.5mg which is quite a big jump.

I roid hence why I also use RU daily. As a natty you would be 100% completely protected from the reaper with Dut and RU. Is it necessary? Most likely not, but you can do it for peace of mind I guess. I would just use 2.5mg to be sure. Sides are a meme.

Scalp irritation would depend on what you use in the solution, since RU wouldn’t cause irritation itself.

How has dut been?

Why not 2, or 10 mg?

How does the transplant look at hairline/temples?
I'm debating a transplant but don't want a low density hairline

Because I did a HT and I've been using it for only 5 months, it's hard to judge my frontal area because it got cooked the most with my balding, but overall I am noticing way less shedding than previous years and that my hairs have a longer growth cycle so I think that it definitely helps and at one year mark it will be great.

I am only at like 5 months and 3 weeks and it is slughtly above average tbh.

I did 2500 grafts, while I like the shape of my hairline, it could have been more dense, few grafts should have had better angles, my right side is good while my left is slightly worse because it was recessed more and different techs worked on each side. Growth is actually good for 5-6 months mark and my donor area is pristine, literally zero scars and I have more in reserve so I will probably do a touch up in one to one and a half year from now. I don't believe in the "wait 12-18 months for final results" bullshit, I think that is a scam, at 8-9 months mark is your final result.

At the end, my face is framed better, I can finally take a photo without looking like a subhuman, it's still ascension compared to the subhumanity that I have endured for almost the entirety of my 20s.

I would recommend hair transplant, it's not a pefrect solution, it takes time to get the full resulta, most of us would probably need 2 if we have noticeable recession, but one must do everything to counter the absolute subhumanity that is male balding...

I went for a consultation for minor recession/thinning on temples, but they wanted to lower the whole hairline. While I may look better with a lower hairline, I think I'd rather just focus on the areas with miniaturised hairs, to avoid lowering my natural hairline and potentially looking low density

Because it’s the dose that has been studied.

They didn’t study 2mg, but you can use that dose if you want. No one’s stopping you hahaha

I know, but people act like it's some magic dose. If you really wanna nuke dht then take even more

Probably overkill in most cases.

And health consequences haven’t been studied on higher doses, there’s more risk.
