My mom was just telling me how poor we were in India
We lived in my dads join family house where his brothers and sisters family also lived
When my mom came and didn’t like the environment she was educated and wanted the same for me a better life
So she told my grandfather to sell his land for money to go to Canada
My dad had a computer store barely making money his brother was in the police he was more respected as he earned more money
they struggled a lot barely passed ielets etc so much stress
apparently my dad fed this yogi guy a Indian burger and the next day he got the visa
Shit like that makes me believe in superstations
our house number is based on numerology the direction of the house etc
No one really knows if that stuff matters but we do it anyway
But tbh looking at a dating view it would have been better if I was back in Punjab easier to get laid etc minimal competition less stress in everyday life
