i honestly feel bad for him, me and are both learning a language together but he still struggles on remember the simplest things we learn on level one

i feel bad for him though but also at the same time each time i get frustrated and tell him he gets defensive and blames it on not being able to memorize and says to the teacher “i need to memorize” then he proceeds to not memorize and continue to say the same cope
