I’m losing myself

Anybody else alter their mannerisms and personality to suit the environment? Like I’ve never been 1 person I change my personality depending on who I’m with, what I’m doing etc. Say I’m with a bunch of black people I can imitate their mannerisms to fit in, or if I’m with a bunch of white people I’ll imitate their mannerisms, I’ll always change my maturity level depending on the people, if they are immature as fuck I’ll also be immature as fuck, and if they are mature I’ll also be mature, genuinely don’t think I’ve ever been someone permanently, it seems superficial as fuck but it works and I’ve never had any problems whatsoever socially

Yeah I get it, only thing i can say is find ppl similar to you so you can be yourself around them but continue to do what you are doing.

Yeah I’ve tried, but I’m so various I don’t even know what I could consider similiar to myself, hobbies, music interest, mannerisms, world views etc. But if you mean similar as in they do the same thing yeah I think that would be better
