As you guys know, a few days ago I didn’t even have €20 to my name. Since earlier this year, I‘ve been on welfare and getting €800 each month but now, they won’t allow me to stay on welfare because of university.

Sounds bad, right? Well… nope! I’ve requested financial assistance because I’m a university student with no real income and now I’m getting even more than what I got on welfare.

On top of this, I’m thinking of working again, and then I can live much comfortably. Technically, I don’t even need the job, but a little extra is always nice.

I’m going to get another €800 this month, and I’ve already gotten the financial assistance. I bought an iPhone recently with my brother’s credit card so I’ll have to pay him €500, I already transferred €250 a few days ago.

My poorcel days are over.

Thanks, man! I plan on saving now. In the past, whenever I had money, I’d blow it on food. I’d order from outside, and easily pay €50 each time I went. When I could have settled for a €10 dinner. And then I’d buy it almost everyday. I’ve spent thousands on food, when I could have had saved that much instead. I’m kinda stupid. :hnghn:

No. I bought it on Thursday because I knew I’d get my welfare money later this month; I wasn’t sure if I’d be getting the financial assistance yet. However, it was approved a day later and I immediately got a nice sum of money in my bank from them. That’s why my brother asked me for the money (he has my bank account on his app as well, because sometimes he has no money whereas I do, and it’s easy for him to send himself the money from my account). Since the original plan was to pay him with the welfare money, I didn’t give him the full sum yet, and just half. It just so happened I got the financial assistance much earlier than expected.

Thank you! I’m not sure what sparked the change… I guess it was multiple factors.

For the gym -> I’ve gotten fat (again), and I don’t feel like dieting only to lose it again, I’ve done that a few times already, so I’d rather do it in the most efficient way (dieting and gym will help me more in the long run).

For the uni -> I realized I can’t be a leech for all of my life, it’s crazy to think that I’m almost 30 and still, I’m basically in the same position as a high school senior.

For the money -> It’s just a nice side effect from going to university.

I’ve gotten student loans before, but I blew through it all. This time, I intend on being wiser with the money.

It’s true, I was and still am a nihilistic pessimist. But things need to change for the better, and I’m working to do that.

The goal is to get my degree, and I’ve healed from what made me sad all these years.

All praise to God. :Comfy:

I did, from late August until last month, but I quit due to my insomnia and also because I had way more tasks than I anticipated, and it was draining as well; I had to socialize a lot everyday.. greet every customer that walks in, and have a conversation with them as they are paying for their items (I was doing the cashier work as well), stocking items, replacing price tags, getting to know the site of the job and where everything has to be. I was also expected to learn about furniture, and how to custom-make curtains, and also to cut them myself and whatnot. I didn’t know I had so many tasks… so that, coupled with my sleeping problems I thought it was better to quit.

Yes, €800 without disability. You aren’t getting it for free, you’re expected to send out a number of job applications every week, provide evidence for that; and have weekly meetings with a work coach, go through a training, etc. I have another appointment this week, and I have to go city hall for that. Haha I actually swing both ways, I also own Android phones.

Thank you very much bhaijaan. Bohat shukriya. 🥰 It’s good that you’re young, it means you can learn from my mistakes. Don’t take any gap years, you’ll just get used to the NEET lifestyle and it can be very enticing to just drop everything and go back to that lifestyle. It’s part of the reason why I am just going now.. took me 10 years to get out of it. And in shaa Allah! Glad I could serve as an inspiration somehow. :Comfy:

weird, females are given allowance due to "equality laws" and they don´t have to prove shit to anyone
yet males are required the entire world to be given a slice of what femoids earn as a monthly basis for being leeches
"women most affected"
