I'm working retail over Christmas. At work everyone is asking me to get stuff from the top shelves because most customers cannot reach. I can reach most everything, and only in rare cases when I have to wheel in the ladder to reach items are further behind the display case. Someone came up to me and said "I need your height". Granted, most customers are female, but I'm on the taller side in general , even with the men. I never considered myself "tall" by any means, but I'm 5'10.5 and this is my reality. . But to call someone my height a manlet is just plain wrong. If you feel short at 5'10, you're probably at least an inch shorter than that.
