Islam & culture - in both my religion and culture it’s better to be a 30 year old virgin than a 20 year old degenerate. I admit it’s tough out there, especially when you develop a oneitis for someone like I had and it’s difficult to let go of it, especially if you’re a NEET like me and you haven’t met anyone. Now my oneitis is married so yeah it’s hopeless but I would advise anyone to never develop a oneitis.

Honestly, I have been on the suicide forum and I was always interested why some people wanted to off themselves. And I shit you not; every one of them so far— I would trade places with them. I always think “Is that why you want to kill yourself? I’d kill to have your problems instead.” I am also surprised I haven’t roped, especially since I was extremely depressed from 2015 until 2021. I would never talk about my problems with anyone- neither friends nor family. No one knew anything. Online, I wouldn’t share my story either- I wouldn’t even hint at it, not even anonymously. I am still amazed I went through all that. I can’t believe it at times. Everyday I was smiling, laughing and cracking jokes at every opportunity. I would be one of those guys, if I had killed myself, where people would go “I honestly can’t believe he did that.” So thank you for your nice words brother. I appreciate it.
