Most guys don't spend whole years complaining about how ugly they are tho. They just go with the flow until, eventually, it works out for most of them. It has been working for millennia.

Many on this forum wants a hot gf, significant other, or lots of casual sex with hot women so we think that the only way to achieve this is to be good looking. In essence love and sex is found through a hierarchy. The wealthiest and best looking people get together. Also mass media has completely inflated the value of looks. Now that we don't have to worry about where our next meal is coming from or when we are going to have to fight in a war, we are more concerned about making our way up the hierarchy. Attractiveness is essentially set in stone unfortunately, so if you are some ugly short guy there is not a great chance you will get with a hot girl unless circumstance permits it. (Being around them for a long time without it feeling forced). Attractiveness being set in stone can lead to nihilism because there is no current way to alter genetics. Even if you got a rhinoplasty or hair transplant, you would still be passing your conventionally unnattractive genetics to your offspring. Which is also why people on this forum want an attractive so because if they have kids they will have a higher chance of not being conventially ugly. This forum believes attractiveness leads to happiness.

Good looks won't bring one happiness, just like money won't do it either.

Guys here falsely believe that if they can finally get to be hot, they will instantly climb up to the top of the social hierarchy and live life on easy mode. Fake news. Things don't work like that in real life.

I believe they sadistically cling to this concept of "not being hot enough" to kind of justify a lot of the failures in their lives. I'm no psycho-analyst but it sure looks like that.

Life is not about being hot. Life's about being fit, not in the working out type of way, but in the survival one.

What they fail to understand is that they've already lost, by simply going through life with such a mentality. You believe you need to get to a certain point before you can finally start winning. That's a literal paradox, yet they fail to notice it.

I get it. Looks matter. Ok - work out, eat healthily, have great hygiene, carry yourself proudly, don't be an asshole but don't let people walk over you either, be resilient, and have initiative. That's all. Implement all of those, go with the flow and just ride it out - you're a few seconds away from death already, stop wasting time. No need to obsess about a millimetric canthal tilt asymmetry because some weird study says so. You're not a virgin because of your eye asymmetry, you're one because of the way you obsess about it.
