I'm screwed. For context, I’m in college and share a house with other students and the landlord. Since she lives with us, she’s always checking up on everything, so she knows what’s going on around the house.

I ordered some food, and when it arrived, I went to pick it up. One of the items was a turmeric latte and when I picked it up it spilled all over the doormat and the porch. I freaked out and tried to clean it as best as I could, but the doormat is probably going to stain. It's still wet, but the yellowish tinge is super obvious. I’m hoping it’ll fade once it dries, but I’m not sure.

Should I tell the landlord or just hope she doesn’t notice? Honestly, I feel like I might be screwed either way, but I don’t want to get into trouble for this .

She's too nice for that tbh. Someone already broke the shower handle and she didn't even try to find out who did it. She just got a repairman to fix it and gave us a tutorial on how to use it properly.
