Started dutaheal 6 weeks ago, and recently have been losing HUNDREDS of hairs per day, losing them almost every time I run my hands through my hair. But I've been losing these hairs all over my scalp at NW1, and they're not short.

This has me wondering whether it's a dut shed or something else. Inb4 telogen effluvium and I end up SubhumanCurrycel maxxed

I've been taking avodart (squeezing out the contents of the softgel) every other day for 2 weeks. I'm probably gonna stop dutaheal for now and just continue with avodart in case the dutaheal was some other shit and caused telogen effluvium (unlikely but my shedding is all over)

It’s normal bro. Stronger medication= stronger effects so stronger shed as well. Unfortunately i am not sure on this but you might lose the fin gains as well from dut making you go way below baseline, but I am not sure like i said. Stick with it, dut shed is brutal but worth it 9/10 times.

I'm still on fin so hopefully not

I need the left temple to fill in, but despite how great everyone claims dut to be, I've yet to really see any temple regrowth pics without min. I'll probably give it a year and then maybe add min if not satisfied. Or get grafts transplanted there, cos I'm already considering getting another transplant on my congenital (previously) bald spot where I had two transplants before

Yeah i heard keeping fin for some months in your routine while dut reach steady concentration in the blood and scalp might help to protect fin gains or in general your scalp from dht, I hope it's legit because I would like to switch too but I must say that fin worked well for me and idk if the hussle of shedding a shit ton is worth it at the moment

Yeah i see it. Your temples and overall hair density looks good but i can see the temple issue ur pointing out considering your hair are long and they are hiding it. Temples and hairline in general are the hardest area to recover or regrow hair from, even with 5% min so don't be surprised if only your crown will thicken up from dut. Transplants works best when it comes to hairline and temples so you might have to get another one to address the temple but wait for the dut shed to subside if you get it, somewhere in the 6 to 12 month range.

Yeah, I don't have any crown thinning though. The spot I showed was completely bald from birth. At least hopefully dut could keep more hair than fin, as some people seem to lose a bit on fin, but most still maintain

Yeah, if I were to get a transplant for the area near the crown I showed, it would probably be better to wait a year to recover from shedding and assess temples to see if they needed any grafts too
