TLDR: AI will soon wipe out many white-collar jobs, and yet normies seem to be barely noticing, or they actively hate or ignore AI.
I just laugh my fucking ass off at how, even now, most normie retards just arrogantly sneer at AI, calling it useless or overrated, saying it does nothing but complicate their work or doesn't help that much. Meanwhile, I, a writer and game dev, became an early adopter from the very beginning, and it's revolutionized nearly everything I do. It's improved my writing quality by 10x, allows me to do stuff faster, lets me write game code that previously would've required a professional programmer (those guys are among the biggest copers btw). It creates music and sound effects for my games, etc.
And yet, go to any dev Discord, be it game dev, coding, art, or anything really, and 90 percent of the time you'll see nothing but hostility and rejection of the technology. Many just outright prohibit anything related to AI. They're in pure bona fide cope mode, thinking AI is unreliable (which to be fair, it was in the early stages), or somehow does not qualify as 'real work' (just lol at the cope). It's just utterly laughable. The funniest part is when they say a given media or piece of content is awesome and then hate it only after they find out it's AI. They literally spend hours or days even making their shitty image or project by hand and meanwhile I can generate something 100x the quality in ten seconds with a prompt.
If you're an early AI adopter, you'll have a massive advantage, at least until it starts making us useless. Oh well.
