You don’t want your dopamine high for that long, also your sleep gets fucked up with XR. You want to use adderall for very specific things/time. And for me the XR come downs are much worse and it makes sense because your dopamine has been high for a long time. If you doctor won’t give ur IR take vitamin C later in the day because it will make the adderall wear off faster
And also IR is far more effective for symptom relief than XR In my experience. They give XR because you can’t “feel” it as much so in theory less chance of abuse, but as long as that’s not an issue IR is so far superior it’s not even comparable
