Lol, it's all about genetics, I lived all my life next to the sea and would regularly go swimming in the summer with the other kids, and I still didn't get that "swimmer body'.

Yeah it's definitely genetics. People with good frames make the best swimmers

Don’t most swimmers have longer torso than legs? I don’t think that’s ideal.
I’d kill for that bidelt tho

Maybe not ideal for appeal but it's a dimorphic trait and not a big deal if you aren't short

Yes, short legs, long torso. Sprinters have the other way around, and it's all genetics, you can't modify this through training.

it's the same as if you exercise once a month
you won't get any progress by just swimming around, you have to take swimming as working out, you still have to do it frequently.
and I'm in the same position as you, I live near the sea and i swim every other day on every summer. i don't have a good frame but i didn't workout either(just started)
watch me frame mog you in 2-3 years
