yes, to an extent. obviously the attractiveness of the parents and quality of upbringing play some part in it but there are also many extraneous circumstances that can affect ones quality of life. like being born with an ailment. on the flip side, being born white, 6ft+, in a first world country, and into a rich family is already light years ahead of most of the world's population. add on to that attractiveness and love, intimacy, and a healthy upbringing and that person is now considered top 0.01% of the world at the very most. elite level luck
