Why do you have to speak multiple languages? Usually its coz Chads forced your ancestors to speak their language so now you have to speak two of them if not more.

Nah mate most people in the roman empire could speak at least two languages. Being able to speak 3 was just as common. Even the elite latins knew greek on top of latin. Stop coping.

I always have a skeptical view of the so-called polyglots who say they know more than ten languages on youtube. Sure they know lots of languages.
But I dont think they can understand jokes or read erotic stories in each language. It could take up to ten years to get to that level of real fluency.
