Immigrant parents made me a socially awkward loser

My parents made me go to fucking daycare until I was finished grade 7 (the second oldest person in the daycare was grade 3). They never let me meet people outside of school and so I ended up losing a lot of connections and went through all of pandemic without talking to a single person. I talked to a few people from my old elementary school and they all told me they used to think I was weird and autistic

Don’t stress it too much, if u have to u can use ur neurodivergence TO get into social groups, we have a dude like that, he’s super ND but he says what’s on his mind and that shits funny a lot of the time, sure he gets made fun of plenty but its better socialising and getting made fun of then being isolated and getting made fun of

I'm not anymore, most social interactions I have outside my friend group are awkward asf but having a group of friends is the best thing ever
