Cider tastes like apple juice but for most of it you normally just blend it with mixers so that it tastes good or drink it enough to where its an acquired taste, but beer will screw you over, easily the worst and most unhealthy alc

For me if its hard liquor I can brush it away and as for losing control it depends on the person but ive never felt out of control unless i went out of my way to black out, i just felt numb and less stressed, not a good habit by all means but it certaintly helps at times, prob why a lot of people back in the day were functioning alcoholics

Depending on tolerance it normally takes abt 4-5 shots of hard liquor to feel good but then again it varies a lot for each person so you cant rly generalize it
