Once you realize that people will always be unequal because of genetics you stop giving a shit about other minor inequalities.

Financial inequality was a bigger problem when a large portion of the population was literally starving.

In a developed country nowadays, even if you live on minimum wage you can still live fairly comfortably compared to what life was like as an 1800’s peasant. As long as most of the population has all of their minimum needs met, they won’t care about financial equality.

As long as you have a place to live, food to eat and some form of leisure, you can just cope and say:
“Money doesn’t bring happiness”
“Besides one day I could become rich, who knows”

That’s what 99% of the population does.
Nobody cares about communism anymore.

Now the main human need that isn’t being met is that of intimacy and now, what causes this inequality isn’t something physical that can be obtained so easily. It’s your genes.

Once a society goes capitalistic it’s almost impossible to go back to socialism.

When those who are benefitted from the system have had a taste of the good life, they’ll do anything to keep it.

It could only become socialist in a revolution that overwhelmingly overthrows those who are benefitted from the system because most of the population is dire need of a change.

In this case it’s not 99% of starving peasants, it’s 20% of men who are incels. AKA 10% of the population. There is no chance of revolution.
