When you're a male autist, you're going to need to dip down to below-average fatties no matter what (unless maybe you're a 9 or 10/10...or you're wealthy/famous like Elon Musk).

A slightly above average (6-7/10) male autist (with a low income) is in a bad position. Here's why: In addition to being unable to get a looksmatch foid, we also have a hard time even getting a below-average fattie. Because a lot of below-average fatties are self-conscious about the idea of dating a man who looks way better (and is in much better shape) than her.

At least an ugly male autist doesn't run into the problem of below-average fatties being self-conscious about dating him.

On a somewhat related note, another downside of being a high-functioning autist with decent looks: Normies invite you to go out partying (because they think you're a fellow normie)

Yet then she wonders why Chad won't commit to her. Umm, it's pretty obvious why Chad won't commit to a 6/10: Because she's far below him.

These 6/10 foids could have commitment if they settled for their looksmatches (6/10 men). Hell, I'm reluctant to even call that settling (as the 6/10 man would be in the same looks tier as the 6/10 foid). The fact a foid getting with a man in her own looks tier is viewed as "settling" on her part, that goes to show how damaged the mating dynamics are right now.
