Ill keep it simple. And I'll start with the extras.

Cardio obviously is the best thing for your skin. Running gives me insane skin benefits, helps overall energy, and makes you alert and present in social interactions. It's great for every aspect.

The main thing:
Taking a shower, and doing a facial mask or put oil on my face. Then proceed with putting oil in my hair and massaging it (before bed). This releases so much stress for me. It creates a subconscious effect of: I treat myself good, so I must be worth something.
Effect: A lot of stress release, increased confidence and better looking skin and hair. My face and scalp also has a lot less tension when massaged, which transforms over to the mental aspect.


TLDR: Cardio + Facial and relaxing = Physical + mental benefits.

This has been my favourite thing in the past 5 years.


P.S.
Of course, if you go to the gym that day, and eat a good meal full of meat or maybe eat a lot of citrusfruits the days before, you will also feel really good. Make some tea. Put on some relaxing song. This is the thing that has always helped me reset when going through a rough time.
