People subconsciously imagine positive/negative traits on people to "balance them out".
For example: Attractive guys (positive) are assumed to be physically weak (negative), Fat guys (negative) are assumed to be friendly (positive), Dumb guys (negative) are assumed to be athletic/physically strong (positive).
However if you are ugly, socially awkward and unathletic, people assume you must be smart since you are just like the dorky nerd from Hollywood movies
