They all hung out with each other outside of school excluding me besides very rare occasions. When covid happened they went an entire year without contacting me until one of them felt bad and added me to the group chat (yep I wasn't a part of that either). Then we started to hang for a little bit, and now they don't contact me anymore unless I initiate first (and I usually just get 2-3 word extremely basic dryer than the sahara replies). They don't ask me to play games on discord or anything anymore . they still contact each other and hangout regularly both online and offline so its just me. When I moved to a different state, not a single one of them asked how I was doing.

Even my own cousin doesn't talk to me unless I force myself to talk first. But he talks to my sister easily whenever she's present.

That fact that this is a universal thing and not just 1-2 people is what's fucking me up

Wtf did I do for them to hate me? Maybe I am too autistic acting? (not diagnosed, I could just have GAD since I understand social cues)...but I never started a fight and always told jokes, and contributed to the conversations. These are people I had lunch with everyday since the beginning of middle school until senior year of HS that was interrupted by covid halfway through. and they want nothing to do with me. BRUTAL SHIT

I was so low on the social totem pole the only people below me on it were the actual special-ed kids . I was nobody's "best friend" even though some of the guys in the group I'd consider mine. It sucks when you like people more than they like you.

I feel like they secretly pitied me. Let me eat lunch with them because they felt bad for me, but didn't want to include me in anything beyond that. And I can't even tell if I'm being paranoid or not because they acted "chill" with me in school. but if I wasn't in their immediate presence I was essentially a ghost.

Doesnt matter. Dont seek the approval of others except for one. Seek to live in a way that glorifies God. Ignore people if they want to ignore you and focus on becoming great. You dont need random friends that dont even care to go make money spread the good news and live a satisfying life. Accept that it might be this way and move on

Truth

There's so many things to do in this life that don't require the validation of other people. I want to get as much enjoyment and fulfillment in it as much as I can before it's over.
