U.S offer to sell f-35 fighters
During a recent meeting in Washington, U.S. President Donald Trump proposed increasing military sales to India, including the eventual provision of F-35 stealth fighters. This proposal aims to bolster India's defense capabilities amid regional security concerns. However, the offer has faced criticism from India's main opposition party, the Indian National Congress, which cites the high costs associated with the F-35 and references to past criticisms of the aircraft's performance. The Indian government has stated that the proposal is in its preliminary stages, and no acquisition process has commenced. (reuters.com)

Russian counter-offer
Concurrently, Russia has proposed producing its fifth-generation Su-57 fighter jets in India, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Make in India" initiative. This offer includes local component sourcing and the potential for expedited production timelines. Historically, India has relied on Russia for a significant portion of its defense equipment, but recent geopolitical events have prompted India to diversify its defense partnerships. (reuters.com)

Pakistani foreign minister
Pakistan has expressed strong concerns regarding the potential sale of F-35 jets to India. The Pakistani Foreign Office warned that such arms transfers could exacerbate military imbalances in the region and threaten strategic stability. They emphasized that these actions are unhelpful in achieving durable peace in South Asia and urged international partners to consider the broader implications of such deals.

What military strategists have to say

Integrating fifth-generation fighters would bolster India's air superiority, serving as a strategic deterrent against regional adversaries. With recent acquisitions of aircraft carriers in thr Indian Navy and inclusion of fifth generation aircrafts along with indigenous aircrafts like Tejas and the Brahmos missile India is slowly but surely emerging as a major military powerhouse in the region. India's strategic investments and modernization efforts are contributing to a more balanced power dynamic in the region. These developments serve as a strategic deterrent, aiming to maintain stability and counterbalance China's influence.

The F-35 would definitely be a giant leap for the Indian air force, but I only see cons:
1- It is almost impossible to integrate it into the Indian air system, which is made up entirely of Soviet and Russian fighters.
2- The United States does not plan to provide support if they are used on their aircraft carrier.
3- Why would the United States sell to a country with a Russian ecosystem when they were denied the sale to Turkey just for buying the S-400? :lul::lul::lul:. It makes no sense.

True this is also a concern that was raised in the article I was reading. Would require IAF to revamp and change its entire infrastructure to accomodatw the f35

Yes. They also refrained from sharing the source code of the aircraft

Trump mentioned this it is to keep china's power in check. China already has ""5th gen" aircrafts

Turning to India as a political counterweight to China does not seem to me to be the most intelligent, although it is probably China's most powerful enemy. I would continue to maintain Korea and Japan as the main forces.

And the SU-57 at the integration level is probably a better option, although at the technological level it does not come close to the F-35. I also consider that the Su-57 could be a better option for air superiority. Taking into account the topography of the border with China, it is probably even more important than bombing.

I also just remembered that the Indian aircraft carrier is conventional and uses ramps. There is no opportunity to put an F-35 on that.

Btw u think its possible for Morocco to get the F-35? I think its just jewish cope.

I was writing an article about that several days ago when the news leaked. But something snatched my attention and I've been working on that ever since. But yeah, like what we did for Ukraine and Russia (wink wink,) we'll do the same for India.

China's too large for this world, and too dangerous.
