If i was dalit, i'd be getting blackout drunk too. They're treated like subhumans by everyone else so why would they give a shit.

The alcohol used is of absolute low cheap quality and it’s a quite common habit for the people of the lower category castes in India.

Ironically, unlike the west, the Rich and high caste ones don’t celebrate any moment with alcohol mostly. The poor ones do.

By this reservation system the govt is uplifting the lower and backward communities and literally indirectly forcing the higher caste ones to do the min wage jobs

Well i can't say much about this system since i haven't experienced it firsthand nor know the long term effects of it but it makes sense to some extent doesn't it? Before this system was implemented as you say, the higher caste indians were getting all the good jobs and living life well while the low IQ dalits rotted and were resentful towards the brahmins and the system. It's not the brahmins fault they're higher IQ and it's not fair for them to lose out on jobs etc even though they are smarter and better qualified but some things are necessary to balance things. If you give dalits all the shit jobs and tell them they're ugly low IQ retards, they're going to hate not only themselves but everyone else too.
