Our conception of sex and attraction is also a cultural thing. The features we deem "objectively" attractive and fit for survival are also human constructs. Status makes you objectively attractive because it is a sign you as an individual have inherent worth in this society, which is also attractive to women to a similar extent as looks (which is another thing measured relative to civilizations)

It's actually true, also add bollywood (Khattris and Hindko pathans like Kapoors, Khannas, Deols, Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand)and those playboy princes/ nawabs (mainly Ksatriiya Rajputs) being lead representatives, along with what OP mentioned.

In fact in the 70s and early 80s Air India (Tata owned) was seen the way Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines are today, as the premier carrier globally, and even people on the flagship LHR - JFK route would pay more for the luxury, service, and food of air india rather than BA or AA.

It really got fucked up with 2 things:

1) 70s and 80s importing of mainstream cheap labour's to the west, which came from lower class rural areas - which was low caste 'north' indians

2) 90s to now importing of tech workers - which are of varying castes, but are aboriginal people with diet (grilled kebabs and tikkas are easy to palate, dosa sambar and pav bhaji, not so much) and culture much further removed from the west of the bollywood, nawabs, and military trope seen before.

Basically india was seen as high value because it was represented by the most appealing top 1% of people genetically and culturally, similar to how Korea is right now.

After that india got represented by a fair cross section of Indian society, which is subhuman.

Imagine what will happen when people realise Koreans all don't look like blackpink or BTS or Hyung Bae Kim and don't eat Korean BBQ and fried chicken everyday.
