Indie games are mostly just pretentious trash

Just LOL at indie devs thinking their trash is better than the generic mainstream garbage.

Unlimited potential and the vast majority of normie indie devs can't create anything that isn't just a rip-off of some famous 2D sidescroller or RPG, or another popular indie game. Good indie games do exist but they are few and far between.

Every indie game nowadays is a pastel colored polygon-styled piece of trash that involves cows exploding or some shit and is only popular because the dev posted a gif to r/gaming or because Dunkey played it.

Why can’t we go back to the Fez and Binding of Isaac days

Have you played state of decay? The original was an indy and it was phenomenal. The second has the backing of Microsoft and is even better.
