Induced iris trauma to reduce melanin in iris — potential way to lighten eyes naturally?

I've been researching how to lighten eyes since of my cursed currycel eye color, and found out that trauma to the iris is one of the only ways to actually decrease melanin in the eyes. Theoretically, this means you can damage your eyes temporarily to lighten them permanently. I'm not 100% sure if this works, just an idea.

There's no way to change your eye color without surgery or dangerous chemicals, just being healthy and getting enough sleep can make a huge difference though, adds a "spark" in the eyes which makes your eyes appear lighter
