I have 3 options

B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence (top uni)
B.Sc. Computer Science (top uni)
MD Dentistry (unknown uni)

I think B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence sounds pretty cool on any CV tbh, suggests insane IQ and is more unique and specialized

Dentistry is very female dominated and also high interaction so probably hard for truecels but nonetheless is very lucrative

i dont really know but with how computer science is being shilled rn i feel like its gonna get oversaturated soon so i would go for AI but tbh if you get really really good at one of these things you're always gonna be able to find a well paid job

dentistry, you'll always have a good paying, respected job that will always be in demand.

and it can't be outsourced to Indians or asians from around the globe

Less Scalable though

But yeah overall risk-return is probably the best for medical professionals

even within the medical profession, you should aim to move away from diagnosis and more towards surgical treatments.

for example: radiologists have been among the best paid medical professionals for decades, but are now rapidly getting replaced by more accurate AI-progams. and similar things are happening for laboratory diagnosis

PNG Sector Automation ex1

Its difficult to get into dental school in the first place due to competitiveness

Plan B is B.Sc Artificial Intelligence

Dentistry has incredibly high suicide rates tbh

AI relies more heavily on maths (aside from discrete which will be found in both) than CS

there's a decent amount of overlap & skills are transferrable so do what you want

no ai is predominantly maths (probability & statistics) but has obviously got overlap

i don't give a fuck what the percentages are, employers don't like niche degrees
we have companies here specialising in medichal engineering

and it's a great industry, but you should do AI, CS, Engineering first then maybe an MS in medical eng. It'll make you far more employable.

thats basically true but cs and engineering is an instant incel status without any women in my prime and i would still rope if i got a good job but lost my prime dealing with austistic incels

i never understood this concern

You'll make friends with your first year flatmates & just others through societies & cross disciplinary social events so you don't need to worry.

dentistry is a great option imo, computer science is good too

I wouldnt do artificial intelligence on the bachelor level, I mean you could I guess it would be CS but with a focus on data science topics and on machine learning, it depends very much how your program looks like

If it would be me, I would definitely make sure that you get a very solid mathematical foundation, the more solid it is, the more you will feel like no quantitative problem will ever be too hard, if you dont understand something you just know that your you understand the "hard" part, the mathematical part, what you lack is just enough knowledge or information in order to solve a given problem. Even though most research in AI seems to be empirical and not very mathematical, it is still a nice to have a good base in mathematics. After that you can teach yourself just about everything. But it is very hard to teach yourself advanced maths if you come from a business background or a CS degree that was more focused on practical skills

shit i forgot that first years had the best bit of uni taken away from them this year, that's so shit.

btw, try to get into shared housing even if it's with randoms. It'll do wonders for your social life.

shared housing is cope since i either get the insanely huge apartment of my parents and they move alone or i go to a new huge house w them in another city

better then being in a 1 person incel room just because there are some cumbuckets and autists around you

B.Sc. AI is very math heavy

The reason i think it mogs CS is bc its more unique, more in demand and suggests high IQ on the CV

Think of the amount of fucking curries you'll be around in comp Sci and also those jobs will probably be exported to poor per countries making it worthless
Dentistry is pretty jewey and unless you want to spend the rest of your life with your hands in someones mouth it kinda sucks I guess but it's high paying
Artificial intelligence seems very high iq and interesting and they probably can't export that shit to poorer countries its probably a lot of theory work
Tbh I would go with artificial intelligence it has a large potential market
