I absolutely agree. But at one time, hundreds of years ago, the shit that happened was a dead child. If the kid fought back against the rich bully, he would lose his life.

I did consider that the Devil anticipated the birth and resurrection and inspired a writer to pen that later. But after reading in between the lines while respecting the metaphors, the book made him more man-like than only divine. Being a kid is tough enough. But being one with all-knowing and understanding of why he's there, I can see what he did as acceptable for his existence in the flesh of man. I can also understand why the death penalty had to happen, besides for our sins.

Have you ever crossed paths with an evil or mean kid before? Have you ever looked him up many years later? They never change! But some do progress in their wickedness.

I knew a kid who would get aggressive and creepy with girls and even younger boys. We called him Creature because he acted like a stranger among us. Welp, a decade later, during his twenties, after a concert, he busted a beer bottle across a 17-year-old girl's face and raped her while her face was split open.

The Infancy Gospel made his legend make sense. But it was indeed a venomous threat to future kings. So I get why King James prohibited its existence.

One of my many regrets and failures was denying an angel because it was too inconvenient for me at the time. I was given three tries.

The first time I met him, he had just arrived. Wearing oversized shoes, highwaters, and a woman's sweater, he asked me, "Is this acceptable?"

I told him no. Then I said, "People will mock you because of the shoes, pants, and sweater." He smiled and said thank you, along with something about how others wouldn't have said anything. He tried on more clothes until he got it right.

From that day forward, I called him the Smiley Man.

Several days later, I'm riding a bike and see him standing in front of the place we had first met. He smiled and said hey. I stopped, and we discussed things. What we talked about, I forgot most of it. But Jesus was mentioned as well as women. One day, that convo will return, as this is a common thing with me.

The next day, back on the bike, I see him sitting on a bus bench across the street from the place we had first met. He smiled. I nodded. I kept peddling. I never saw him again.

The reason why I didn't stop was that I had to get back to my apartment for something meaningless.
