One of the biggest flaws/ fuckups that god had given me is a shit eye area and I am planing to get infra very soon on it but I just wanted to know whether I should just directly get canthoplasty instead of wasting my time with implants.

my eye sight is getting worse anyway, shits at a +1.25 and +1. No amount of glasses can fix negative canthal tilt

recently heard about, palate expanders helping with eye area indirectly? anyone care to explain how that shit works

yeah bro, infraorbital implants mainly project the midface and smooth the under-eye area they won’t actually change your canthal tilt directly. what they can do is make the eye area look less hollow and reduce that tired/sunken look, which gives the illusion of a slightly more lifted or balanced tilt from the side. but if your outer canthus is physically lower or lax, implants alone won’t fix that you’d need a canthoplasty or canthopexy for real tilt correction. if you’re gonna get infra first, that’s fine, just know that swelling and implant projection can slightly distort the eyelid temporarily, so wait till everything settles before judging the result. a lot of surgeons recommend infra first since it restores midface support, then canthoplasty later if you still need lift or tightening.
